The Yachting Center Corpus Christi also offers courses in power yachting. We provide instruction and practical experience for ownership and charter of 30 - 50 ft. displacement and semi-displacement motor yachts.
PY 101 - Live aboard introduction to yacht systems, boat handling, safety, basic navigation, anchoring, line handling, federal and state laws with the objective of developing habits of a knowledgable and responsible captain.
PY 102 - Three day cruise with instructor aboard a motor yacht with student as captain with emphasis on advanced systems, navigation, cruise planning and anchoring out.
